I'm grateful for so many things -- great reminder to stop and think about those things. I love how the act of doing this intentionally causes you to slow down and reflect on your day in a positive way. So often I end my day thinking about all the things I didn't get done. And that's just not healthy!! Great new goal for the New Year to do this. I totally agree with how decluttering and using color in our spaces can bring us joy. (Even just cleaning out a closet makes me happy.)

I highly recommend it. The Calm the Chaos book helped me find things to focus on, but all you really need is a journal. Then write 3-5 things that made you feel good! When I do this, I sleep so much better.

I believe gratitude is at the heart of all happiness. Glad you are finding that, too.

Thanks for sharing what makes you grateful and positive and your process. I like to carry positivity and gratitude into actions such as helping someone at the grocery store who can't reach the top shelves or giving someone directions while I'm out walking. But it can be as simple as saying kind words of love and encouragement. I am grateful for you, Tracey, and the Blackbird Writers. Happy Thanksgiving!
