My Thoughts For All's avatar

We are kindred souls having issues with Ingram. For some reason, which I'm still not clear how it happened, my book cover was not sent out with Ingram's wide distribution file at the end of March. I was stunned to see a blank image on my book page on Bookshop.org and Barnes & Noble. Also on an Ingram marketing list. And they had the cover!! After much pulling my hair, and back and forth with their customer service, it has been fixed on the distribution file and on the websites. I'm still going to be cautious on my next book. So when Ingram gives you the go ahead on the merged ISBN account, you may want to check the wide distribution websites to make sure your cover is displayed on your book page. I truly hope you don't have the same experience I just had.

Thanks for sharing! We just have to stick together and share what we lear about our journey. And Ingram could really improve their customer support. (Ug) Good luck!

Indie or traditional, we're all slogging through it. We just have different mud.

Snags are unavoidable. They happen with all publishers. The great part is that you've learned another pivot skill, and even greater, you're sharing it with others. You go, Tracey!
