I am looking forward to getting home and putting up my fall decorations! Your display makes me want to do more… but as we live way out in the country on a dead end road not many people will see them!
Actually, I would do more too. At least my piano students think they are fun. But we live on a dead end street too. And alas, there are no trick or treaters.
As you might guess, I love to watch the old Universal classic horror movies and cuddle up to Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and Lon Chaney, Jr. with some popcorn. Have you seen the 1999 movie "Sleepy Hollow" with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci? The soundtrack by Danny Elfman is dark and spine-tingling! You can listen to it (Part 1) on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heqF7rVwMLY
Great premise. That sounds like it will drive the book forward nicely. I too like autumn. It was much prettier in Montreal than here in San Diego. I don't celebrate Halloween as much as you do. I love Day of the Dead more. It has a much deeper meaning in Mexico.

Tracey and Val, the operative word in both your posts is "dead"!

I like that movie too! And Nightmare Before Christmas. Elements has composed many creepy soundtracks. Love it! I didn't know you were a fan!

Thanks Carl! I think the colors are half my reason for loving this season. 😄
After the heat of the summer, the autumn's cooler weather is very welcome!
You're so right, Glenna! Thanks for commenting.
