They say it's a solitary profession, but what they don't know is it takes a community to write a best seller. And then, it takes a pueblo or small township to market and sell a single book.
Great post, Tracey. Totally agree about the need for a supportive group of friends as we write! It can get lonely and mind draining otherwise. Getting out and together can nurture our hearts and souls and generate new writing ideas. Those are also reasons why I love my Blackbird Writers' flock.
Well-said, and I couldn't agree with you more. Networks of writers are lifelines for those in the writing community, and, along with those in the reading community, are the best benefits of this profession.
Glad you are in my circle!
I must find a like-minded group.
Try out any of the links I mentioned above. You will find many kind, like-minded folks willing to share resources.

Sharing ideas, tech, resources and feedback are all part of the journey. I'm so glad to have met you, Sherrill. You inspire me!
Thanks, Tracey. Backatcha!

One of these days, I'll have a photo of us together! 🙂
Looking forward to that!!!
Great blog, Tracey. A quick read that's a shot in the arm for people out there trying to find their people.
Thanks Joy! I look forward to your event in May!
Me too, Tracey. I'm honored to have you as my host!
