good for you! The problem with your 2024 was that it wasn't in your control. You succeeded in doing what you could to make it happen, but others were driving the processs. By going indie, you're taking back control. I went this way for my second book, bought back the rights to my first, and have jettisoning those pipe dreams of "agent, publisher, best-sellers list" in favor of enjoying the writing process, writing on my own timetable, writing the book I want to, and commmunicating directly with readers. Welcome to the club!

I know how you feel, Tracey. Sometimes your best writing and all the marketing you do just doesn't lead to traditional publishing. My publisher rejected my next book because SAVING MYLES didn't sell enough copies. So I'm looking for a publisher. I just want to make sure that my top goal is to write the best book I can in 2025. In the end that is what is supposed to count the most in my life. Easy to say and hard to do.
